Reaproveitar é a ideia do século atual. Tudo que podemos reutilizar para ajudar o meio-ambiente é válido e quando essa reciclagem vira arte, melhor ainda! Visitando o Tumblr encontramos o artista Loui Jover, que mora na Austrália e faz desenhos com tinta em páginas de livros antigos.

I paint , I draw, I do it everyday.

Os desenhos são bem expressivos, melancólicos, românticos, alguns têm um ar clássico, meio urbano e  até  bucólico. São simplesmente hipnotizantes. De acordo com o próprio Jover, ele não escolhe as páginas que vai pintar, simplesmente as pega e faz algum desenho deixando para o observador fazer a leitura, da fusão do desenho com as páginas velhas, que a subjetividade permitir .

Right now I like making ink drawings on adhered together sheets of vintage book paper, there is a fragility to these images that I find interesting (as if the wind may blow them away at any moment) and the hand drawn stark black lines against the intricate printed words of the book pages offer a strange fusion and depth that seems to give the images a kind of ‘meaning’ and back story, even though unconnected in a contrived way. I never pick the image for the pages or visa-versa they just collide as chance permits, any meaning they may have is purely created by the observer and their own imaginings.
